Tree Limb Drop Off and Curbside Collection

Following Hurricane Larry, the Town will be organizing collection options for fallen tree limbs.

Starting Sunday, September 12, residents can bring fallen limbs to the Town depot lots next to CB Auto, and the Robert French Memorial Stadium.  Please note that only trees, limbs and branches will be accepted. Waste and construction material, such as fences, will not be accepted.

The drop off locations will remain open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. These locations will remain open until the extended date of Friday, September 24, 2021.

Location 1 – 106 Conception Bay Highway (depot lot between CB Auto and A & W)

Location 2 – 70 Legion Road (depot lot between the Robert French Memorial Stadium and the Royal Canadian Legion)

Residents are advised that the Town is offering a curbside tree debris pickup service on the following dates:

What is collected?

Trees and branches sized to allow two people to safely handle; and
small branches, twigs; and
leaves in brown paper bags less than 40 lbs. Plastic bags will not be collected.

No other items will be accepted.

No appointment is required for this collection.  Please ensure to have your debris placed curbside no later than 7:30 a.m. on your scheduled collection date. In the event that your debris is not collected on your scheduled day, it will be collected as soon as possible.

Yard waste, such as small twigs, branches and leaves may also be collected with regular household garbage if bagged, and can be placed in your cart.
