The Town is advising residents of an emergency water disruption due to a break in the transmission water main. To facilitate repairs, water service is being temporarily disconnected. 

Details:

• Date: Monday, December 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. 
• Affected Areas: Residents throughout the Town may experience low or no water pressure. Higher elevation areas will be most affected.
• Estimated Restoration Time: Water service has now been restored. The CBS Arena has resumed normal operations. Thank you for your patience. 

Water Restoration: After water service is restored, residents may experience minor water discolouration and pressure fluctuations. To avoid potential staining from discoloured water, it is recommended that you refrain from doing laundry for about one hour. If water discoloration persists,  please contact the Engineering and Public Works Department.
