The Town of Conception Bay South has partnered with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) to help launch an online purchasing safe exchange zone at the RNC detachment, located at 106 Conception Bay Highway.

This zone provides a safe place to exchange goods for people who may be uncomfortable doing so at their residence or in an unfamiliar environment.

The zone is indicated with signage and is painted orange. It provides two parking spaces for the transaction, in an area that is under CCTV surveillance.

Deputy Mayor Richard Murphy joined community partners to officially launch Safe Exchange Zones to build safer communities. These orange parking spaces are now located at every Royal Newfoundland Constabulary parking lot. All are welcome to use these spaces to buy and sell their goods safely.
