Get ready for Conception Bay South’s summer festival! This year is our 50th anniversary, so we are making the Kelligrews Soiree bigger and better than ever! Celebrate with us. Come and visit!
Throughout Conception Bay South, there are nine scavenger hunt signs hidden in each one of our nine communities: Topsail, Chamberlains, Manuels, Long Pond, Foxtrap, Kelligrews, Upper Gullies, Lawrence Pond, and Seal Cove. The signs as 2ft x 2ft and the hint is… they are placed at one of the most scenic locations within each community.
Enter the locations that you find for your chance to win a very special prize pack that celebrates the Town’s 50th anniversary! The contest closes on July 28, 2023. BONUS ENTRY: Take a picture at one of the signs and tag us on social media using #CBS50.

We are kicking off the summer at our new community park and opening the splash pad. There will be live music and lots of family fun celebrations.

The race starts and ends at the Conception Bay South Arena, and the route travels along part of the T’Railway (the old rail bed) with incredible ocean views. This race is chip timed and finisher medals will be provided. Trophies will be presented to winners in each age category. The deadline to register is July 6, 2023.

A fun community bike ride that ends with free ice cream! We will leave from the Town Hall, travel along the T’Railway, and stop at Bergs Ice Cream for a delicious sweet treat before making our way back. Participants must bring their own bicycles and helmets. No registration required.
Fairy Garden Grand Opening
Where: CBS Community Gateway Garden (behind the CBS Arena, 13 Graham Mifflen Drive)

You’re invited to the new fairy garden, where there will be fairy crafts to enjoy and a visit from a very famous fairy! Make the event extra fun by wearing your princess or fairy costume, a fancy hat, or bright colourful clothes. This event is for the young and young at heart!
Youth Night at the Community Park
Where: Community Park, 20 Bishops Road
When: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Admission: Please bring a non-perishable food item for the CBS/Paradise Community Food Bank.
Organized by the Town’s Youth Advisory Council, this is a fun night at the Community Park. There will be entertainment from Frontline Action, and carnival treats like popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy. This event is geared towards all youth ages 13-21.

Nothing says summer like a BBQ with great friends and great music! This event is for ages 65+. A BBQ lunch will be served, followed by music from Rodney Taylor.

Flow through yoga poses, while relaxing to the beauty of our breathtaking sunsets. This session is led by Sisters in Fitness. No pre-registration required.
Drive-In Movie Night

Let’s roast marshmallows and make some tasty s’mores. Try some delicious flavour combinations for a new twist on an old favourite. There will be live music playing on the stage, campfires burning, and a fairy garden to explore. Bring your family and your camp chairs, and come join us for a night of family fun and entertainment. This is an event your furry friends are sure to love! The parade starts at the Conception Bay South Arena. Pets travel down the trail to Sgt. Ned Nugent’s Dog Park and then meet for a play date. Prizes will be awarded for best dog costume and other fun categories.
All proceeds from this event go towards Field of Dreams Clubhouse efforts at All Saints Field. Cash only. Cards and canteen services on site. Come Celebrate the last night of the Soiree with your besties.
Bingo cards range from $12-$18. Extra card games and dabbers available on site for purchase. Bingo dabbers are required for legal play. Limited cardboard playing surfaces available $2 each.

This is the 2023 Kelligrews Soiree’s grand finale! Come out for an evening of live music set alongside the beautiful ocean. Music by Bare Mountain, plus bonfires (roasting goodies supplied), bouncy castle, and more! A free shuttle service will be provided from Topsail Elementary, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. and operating on a load-and-go schedule.
