The Youth Volunteer of the Year award honours outstanding youth volunteers in Conception Bay South who have helped to make the Town a better place to live, to work, and/or to play. This prestigious award is presented to a resident of Conception Bay South who demonstrates dedicated humanitarian services to their community.  There has been an annual recipient of this distinction since it was initiated by the CBS Lions Club in 1971. Learn more.

Categories include: Junior Male Athlete of the Year, Junior Female Athlete of the Year, Senior Male Athlete of the Year, Senior Female Athlete of the Year, and Coach of the Year.

The Conception Bay South Sports Hall of Fame recognizes individuals, groups, associations, families and teams on the basis of playing ability, sportsmanship and character and who have achieved extraordinary distinction in any sport, whether that be amateur or professional athletics.  The Sports Hall of Fame also recognizes those who have given distinguished services and who have made a major contribution to the development and advancement of amateur sport in Conception Bay South.  Posthumous nominations are also accepted.
