Conception Bay South Launches Newest Marketing Videos

The Town of Conception Bay South’s newest resident attraction and tourism videos officially launched today on the Town’s YouTube channel. The two videos will broadcast on national television this week and build on the Town’s marketing campaign initiated last year, ‘Explore your sense of wonder in Conception Bay South’.

“Our marketing campaign is about showcasing the magical moments that people get to experience every day in Conception Bay South – whether it’s hiking along world-renowned trails with incredible ocean views or watching spectacular sunsets over the bay, right from your own backyard. We have an energy in our town that keeps you young at heart and sparks your imagination and wonder,” said Mayor Terry French.

Beyond resident and tourist attraction, the videos’ focus is also about instilling a sense of pride in the people and businesses that reside here, explained Mayor French.

“We are strategically located close to urban amenities, yet residents get to enjoy the rural, friendly feel that comes with living here. Our beauty and our unique blend of urban and rural living is what sets us apart – it’s the magic of Conception Bay South. I know it, our residents know it, and now we’re sharing it with the rest of the world,” said Mayor French.

Conception Bay South will be at the centre of the curling world this week when it hosts a world-class curling tournament at its arena from December 10-15. As part of the Grand Slam of Curling, Boost National  coverage, the Town will air both videos on Sportsnet, which will broadcast all across Canada. Next year, the Town will air the commercials on local television and launch a strategic digital marketing campaign.

With a population of approximately 27,000, Conception Bay South is the second largest municipality in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Town is quickly becoming the community of choice for families wanting to establish long-term roots, as evidenced by continued population growth.
