The Kelligrews Soiree is a fun-filled summer festival in Conception Bay South. The week-long festival features events and activities for all ages.

Saturday, JULY 7
- 2018 Tim Hortons Kelligrews Soiree 8KM Road Race
Race starts and ends at the Conception Bay South Arena, and travels through part of the T’Railway. Registration fee is just $25. Custom finisher’s medal for all participants. Read more.
- Home Hardware Pancake Breakfast
Join us for a free, hearty, and delicious pancake breakfast at the Conception Bay South Arena from 8 – 11 a.m., sponsored by Home Hardware.
- Kelligrews Soiree Garden Party
An outdoor concert at Sgt. Ned Nugent’s Field, featuring some of the top musical talent in the province! This event is 19+. Happy hour pricing from 7-8 p.m. For more details or to purchase tickets, click here.
Sunday, JULY 8
- Soiree Family Folk Festival
A great event for the whole family, and it’s free! Live entertainment, bouncy castles, games, and more – all taking place from 12 – 4 p.m. at the Richard Parsons Memorial Field (next to CNA) Rainy Day Venue: Conception Bay South Arena. No bar service at this event.
Monday, JULY 9
- Movie Night in CBS! Sponsored by Mary Brown’s
Drop by the Robert French Memorial Stadium for a movie on the big screen. Movie to be announced soon! Complimentary Mary Brown’s Chicken Pop-Ins; snacks available for purchase (cash only) from the Youth Advisory Council. Admission: A donation of unused school supplies. All donations will go to the Single Parent Association of Newfoundland. Movie starts 7 p.m.
Tuesday, JULY 10
- Soiree Pre-Teen Dance
Local youth ages 9-12 are invited to the Soiree Pre-Teen Dance. Dance is from 6 – 9 p.m. and includes DJ music and canteen service. Chaperones in attendance. Location: TBD.
- Topsail Heritage Homes and Gardens Walk
Guided by a member of the Town’s Heritage Advisory Committee, this relaxing 1.3 km guided stroll will tour one of the oldest neighborhoods in Conception Bay South. The walk starts at St. John Evangelist Old Church (behind Topsail Elementary). The quiet country neighborhood is a quaint area that was home to many of the region’s first settlers and boasts homes well over a century old. Free event, starts 7 p.m.
- Art Party
Paint a picture with your friends at the Art Party. Starts 7 p.m. at the Conception Bay South Lions Club (10 Minerals Rd). Purchase tickets online at eastcoastartparty.com/newfoundland. Bar service available (19+).
Wednesday, JULY 11
- Arts Walk
NEW EVENT – Stroll along the beautiful Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Center trail, and enjoy an evening of music, art and performance. On the way, you’ll stop at various stations to see many of our local, talented artists and performers. Free event from 6 – 9 p.m.
Thursday, JULY 12
- Clara Nolan’s Ball
This is a free 50+ event, open to all seniors. From 12 – 3 pm enjoy musical entertainment, a BBQ lunch and refreshments at the Royal Canadian Legion (60 Legion Rd).
- Doggie Parade and Party
NEW EVENT – This is an event your furry friends are sure to love! The parade will start at the Conception Bay South Arena at 7 p.m. Pets will parade along the trail to Sgt. Ned Nugent’s Dog Park, where they can all meet up afterwards for a play date. Prizes will be awarded for best dog costume and other fun categories. Admission: FREE.
Friday, JULY 13
- Big Rig Rodeo
Get up close to some awesome big rigs at the Conception Bay South Arena from 12 – 2 p.m. We’ll have everything from backhoes and fire trucks, to garbage trucks and the RNC Mounted Unit! From 12-1 p.m. there will be no sirens or horns. The quiet hour will help make this event inclusive and enjoyable for everyone, including those with sensory sensitivity.
- Last Blast on Topsail Beach
This is the 2018 Kelligrews Soiree’s grand finale! Come out for a concert on Topsail Beach, bonfires, bouncy castles and more! Complimentary busing available from Topsail Elementary. Free event from 7 – 9 p.m. (weather permitting).
