Several Conception Bay South residents and businesses have been recognized for their green thumbs by receiving the Annual Best Garden Awards.

Through a partnership with the Town of Conception Bay South and Scotts Miracle-Gro, the award winners were presented with certificates and prize packages for helping to keep the Town beautiful.

“We want to thank, encourage, and support the gardeners in our community. Gardening helps to keep our Town beautiful, contributes to the physical and the mental health of residents, shows a sense of pride and passion for the environment, and promotes a sense of community. We have many beautiful properties in our town that deserve to be recognized. This initiative would not have taken place without the dedication of our esteemed judging committee, who volunteered their valuable time and expertise,” said Mayor French.

 The residential garden at 9 Jasmine Place has been recognized as this year’s Best Garden by the Town of Conception Bay South and Scotts Miracle-Gro.
