As a proud and growing municipality, we host numerous events throughout the year to bring our diverse community together – but for our 50th anniversary year, we aimed for bigger and better. The video below is a thank you to all of our friends, family, and neighbours who helped us celebrate this milestone year. Incorporated in 1973, Conception Bay South consists of nine communities: Topsail, Chamberlains, Manuels, Long Pond, Foxtrap, Kelligrews, Upper Gullies, Lawrence Pond, and Seal Cove.

Our 50th Logo
As part of our 50th anniversary, the Town proudly launched a new logo to celebrate our fifty years of incorporation. The sun icon speaks to the nine communities that make up Conception Bay South. Each sun ray is a reflection of the different populations of each community. The sun icon is placed in the North East area of the existing logo as a nod to our geographic location.
