50th Anniversary

Celebrating fifty years of community!

Welcome to the Town of Conception Bay South as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. Our beautiful coastline, trail system, and modern amenities make us a prime destination for families, businesses, and visitors from near and far. Our town is made up of nine wonderful communities along scenic Conception Bay, and we invite you and your family and friends to come celebrate with us in 2023.

Incorporated in 1973, Conception Bay South consists of nine communities: Topsail, Chamberlains, Manuels, Long Pond, Foxtrap, Kelligrews, Upper Gullies, Lawrence Pond, and Seal Cove. The Town of Conception Bay South hosts numerous events throughout the year to bring our community together – but this year, we are aiming for bigger and better!

Our New Logo

As part of our 50th anniversary, the Town has proudly launched a new logo to celebrate our fifty years of incorporation. The sun icon speaks to the nine communities that make up Conception Bay South. Each sun ray is a reflection of the different populations of each community. The sun icon is placed in the North East area of the existing logo as a nod to our geographic location. Town of Conception Bay South 50th Anniversary Logo
