Walking for Wellness is a free program that allows older adults to explore the trails of Conception Bay South. A group leader will meet you at the designated meeting area. Walks will go ahead rain or shine, so dress appropriately.
The 2022 Winter Set of Walking for Wellness will begin on January 19! In the spirit of winter, this set will consist of guided snowshoe walks. Participants will join a group leader at the designated meeting location for the snowshoe walk. Week 1 through 5 will take place on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., while week 6 will occur in the evening, at 6:00 p.m. The final two walks will end with an outdoor fire. Social distancing will be required, and each bubble will be assigned to their own fire pit. Walks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.
Spaces are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions and available equipment. Pre-registration is required for each walk.
