Experience the magic of the season with a delightful stroll along the Manuels River, displaying colourful holiday lights. Residents can enjoy this lighted walk from December 2, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
- Location: Start your journey at the upper Manuels River parking lot or at the Gallagher Walk entrance near the river. The walk spans approximately 550 meters.
- Light Display Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily (weather-dependent)
Crosswalk Safety Measures:
- Pedestrian Activated Crosswalk: A convenient pedestrian-activated crosswalk is available for visitors to safely cross Route 60. Exercise caution while crossing the road.
- Lit Pedestrian Underpass: For added safety, a lit pedestrian underpass is provided as an alternative to crossing the road directly.
Trail Conditions and Safety Tips:
- Natural Trail: The Light Walk takes place on an ungroomed, natural trail. Please use the trail at your own risk.
- Weather Monitoring: Monitor weather conditions, especially during snowy or icy weather. Exercise caution. In case of adverse weather, lights may be turned off to prevent damage.
