Motorists are advised that road closures will be in effect from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2023. Road closures will begin at Villanova Junior High on Topsail Road and head west along Route 60 to the Town Hall. All entry and exit to Conception Bay Highway from sideroads and parking lots will be prohibited. Roads will reopen once the parade has passed each street.

Starting at 10:00 a.m., the following roads will experience closures. Only emergency vehicles will be permitted access to these areas.

• Neils Line – no entry from / exit to Topsail Road
• Manuels Arterial Road – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• CB Highway – Manuels River to Conception Bay South Town Hall – CLOSED
• Easons Road – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Cherry Lane – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Jetta Place – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Dawsons Run – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Villa Nova Road – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Tobins Road – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Elliotts Place – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Coffee Creek Place – no entry from / exit to CB Highway
• Bishops Road – no entry from / exit to CB Highway

Accessible Parking

Accessible Parking will be available at the lot shared by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary detachment and CB Auto.  In this area, spectators can park and watch the parade from their vehicle.  To book a space in this area, please call 709-834-6500 ext. 601.  A Blue Accessible Parking Permit will be required. Lot will be filled as space permits and will be monitored.  This location is within the Sensory Friendly Zone. Please note that anyone accessing this area must do so before the 10:00 a.m. road closure. After this time, access to this lot will be unavailable. 

Sensory Friendly Zone

The sensory friendly section of the parade will be located from Shoppers Drug Mart to the RNC Detachment. In this area, there will be no sirens or flashing lights and music will be turned down to lower levels.  This area will be clearly noted with signage. Anyone in the community may stand in the sensory friendly zone.  There is no specific parking for anyone looking to view the parade in the sensory friendly area.
