Council is considering a request from the property owner to re-zone land at 963 Conception Bay Highway.

The request would require amendments to both the Conception Bay South Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, and is intended to recognize current and past commercial use of the properties along with re-development of 963 Conception Bay Highway as an automotive service facility.

In general terms, the amendments would re-designate and re-zone land located at 961 and 963 Conception Bay Highway from the “Residential Medium Density” designation and zone to the “Commercial” designation and the “Commercial General” zone.

Council will accept feedback until 2:00pm on Tuesday October 15, 2024 and will hold a public information session regarding the proposed re-zoning at the Conception Bay South Town Hall, Greenslade Gallery, at 7:00p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
