Council is considering a request from the property owner to re-zone land at 2703 & 2707 Topsail Road. The request would require amendments to both the Conception Bay South Municipal Plan and Development Regulations, and is intended to recognize current commercial use of 2707 Topsail Road along with redevelopment of 2703 Topsail Road for parking and storage associated with the automotive repair shop at 2707 Topsail Road.
In general terms, the amendments would re-designate and re-zone land at 2703 & 2707 Topsail Road from the “Residential Mixed” and “Residential Medium Density” designation and zone to the “Commercial” designation and the “Commercial General” zone. The proposed amendments may be viewed on the Town’s website here.
Council will accept feedback until 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 31, 2025 and will hold a public information session regarding the proposed re-zoning at the Conception Bay South Town Hall, Greenslade Gallery, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
