The Public Hearing regarding 1659 Conception Bay Highway re-zoning has been cancelled in accordance with legislation as the Town did not receive any submissions at least 2 days prior to the Hearing.

Council recently adopted Municipal Plan Amendment No. 32, 2024 and Development Regulations Amendment No. 54. In general terms, these amendments would re-designate and re-zone land at 1659-1663 Conception Bay Highway from “Commercial General” to “Residential Low Density”.

A Public Hearing with an Independent Commissioner is scheduled to consider objections and representations on these amendments at the Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation should submit a signed written statement to the Town by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024.
