This event is for residents in the St. John’s Metro Region: In Person: June 21st 7-8pm St. John’s Farmer’s Market *Free food and refreshments!
Purpose: To present to and engage with community members about co-operatives and an idea for a co-operative incubator program in NL.
Expectations: The event will begin with a presentation about co-operatives. As an engagement exercise, small groups will discuss the prompt: “What are some issues in your community that you think a co-operative could help solve?” This will be followed by sharing discussions with the whole group (if you want)! The last part of the event will be another presentation about an idea for a co-operative incubator program that could contribute to co-operative, social, and economic growth for NL! There will also be a Q&A period afterwards!
