For nature lovers, Conception Bay South offers the perfect backdrop for hiking. It’s where you’ll find the starting point of the world-renowned East Coast Trail – a network of more than 300 kms of developed coastline trails. The trail head starts at Topsail Beach.

You can also hike to Topsail Bluff from this access point to take in the iconic, breathtaking view of Conception Bay. Take the East Coast Trail about 200 meters and head right to scale this steep trail. The climb is worth it when you get to the top.

Hikers can park at the Topsail Beach Rotary Park parking lot.
