Draft Municipal Plan & Development Regulations Released for Public Consultation!

The Town of Conception Bay South has been working with the project team and the community over the past few years to review and update the Municipal Plan and Development Regulations. We are so grateful for all the community feedback and engagement over the past years of this project. We are now pleased to release the new draft planning documents for review, feedback, and edits!

These new documents have been informed by public input and are responsive to the changing needs of our community. The new Municipal Plan and Development Regulations will guide how and where growth and development happen in CBS. Now we want to hear from you! Please take some time to review the draft documents on our website (www.plancbs.ca) and let us know your thoughts. This phase of review and engagement is open until Monday, July 15, 2024.

In-person meetings:

Join us to learn about the changes to the new plan and to share your thoughts. The project team will provide a presentation, and then there will be an opportunity for interactive discussion, feedback, and conservation.

● Session 1: Wednesday, June 12, 7:00 pm, Parsons Rotary Clubhouse (1706 Conception Bay Highway)
● Session 2: Thursday, June 13, 7: 00 pm, Worsley Park Building (52 Worsley Dr, Conception Bay South)

Book office hours with the project team:

Book a 30-minute time slot during our office hours to learn about and discuss the new draft Municipal Plan and Development Regulations with the project team. This is an opportunity to ask further questions following the public meetings, discuss an issue in more depth, and share your thoughts one-on-one with the team in a calm setting. We are inviting scheduled office hour meetings during the following times:

● Wednesday, June 12, between 1:00 – 4:00 pm
● Thursday, June 13, between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
● Friday, June 14, between 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
