Conception Bay South and Mount Pearl to Co-Host National Women’s Hockey Championship

The Town of Conception Bay South and the City of Mount Pearl today announced that they will co-host Hockey Canada’s 2025 U18 National Women’s Hockey Championship from November 3-8, 2025. This elite tournament hosts the nation’s top young female hockey players, with eight provincial and regional teams competing for a national title.

This marks the first time Newfoundland and Labrador will host the prestigious event, which will take place at The Glacier Arena in Mount Pearl and the Conception Bay South Arena. Participating teams include Alberta, Atlantic, B.C., Manitoba, Ontario Blue, Ontario Red, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

The tournament is made possible through the support of Celebrate NL, Destination St. John’s, Sport Tourism Event Partnership, and Hockey NL. This partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to providing opportunities for young athletes to compete at the highest level.
