The Town of Conception Bay South invites applications for the position of Maintenance Custodian
in its Recreation and Leisure Services Department. 

UNIONIZED POSITION
Casual Call-in Basis

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Provides maintenance, janitorial cleaning and minor repair replacement in the preventative maintenance of the building structure, fixtures, fittings, building area and the parking lot/grounds area.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of Grade XII education or equivalent and a demonstrated background in a position with similar duties and responsibilities in an aquatic environment. Applicants must display a neat and tidy appearance and be able and willing to work well under minimum supervision.  Consideration may also be given to anyone possessing any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Applications must include a copy of official educational documents confirming education requirements and references. The successful applicant must provide an acceptable Certificate of Conduct with Vulnerable Sector Check and Drivers Abstract prior to commencement.
