The Town of Conception Bay South is proud to support the arts community and is embarking on a project to display local works of art, such as photography, paintings, and sculptures, in the main foyer of the Town Hall.

“This initiative is a great way to showcase the talent and artistic passion of our residents. The Town Hall is a modern and bright building, and the interior will complement an art display very well. We currently have various pieces of art throughout the building, and a new display will expand on this facility as a creative hub. We’re looking forward to seeing what this project has in store and we’re open to all kinds of artistic submissions,” says Mayor Terry French.

Conception Bay South residents are encouraged to propose a piece of original artwork, to be displayed for a minimum two-week period. Artists and artisans must be from the town to be considered. The duration of each display will be determined by the number of submissions received.
