Ocean Quest was established in 1997 with the aim of providing high quality services to the scuba diving community within Newfoundland and Labrador. As a PADI 5 Star IDC Center, Ocean Quest has gained not only the respect from the industry locally, but now has a long-standing reputation worldwide. As one of the East Coast of Canada’s premier scuba diving facilities, we offer quality services and exclusive wreck diving charters to the Bell Island shipwrecks and surrounding areas, providing safe and high-quality experiences to all our guests. About 15 years ago, Ocean Quest broadened to include boat tour adventures with icebergs, waterfalls, sea caves, whales, and other marine life. Whether it be from the deck of a 45-passenger boat, a zodiac, a kayak, or in the water snorkeling, you’ll learn about our centuries old local culture, built heritage, history, and the nature of Newfoundland in a safe manner that has the utmost respect for the marine environment. Ocean Quest also has the ability to accommodate visitors in our modern lodge, completing the experience with an onsite spa. Ocean Quest has three locations which include a retail and service shop at 40 O’Leary Avenue in St. John’s, as well as an accommodations lodge and adventure departure facility in Conception Bay South and another adventure departure facility in Petty Harbour.
