Downtown CBS is a Business Improvement Association comprised of businesses within three kilometers along Route 60, from Manuels River to Terminal Road, that have come together to mutually support business activity.

Conception Bay South’s downtown district focuses on 3 kilometres of prime commercial setting and currently includes 115 commercial and home-based businesses. The assessed value of all Downtown CBS properties is in excess of $80 million, including over 200 residences. The Association is run by a Board of Management that provides business promotion and improvement functions as outlined in the Main Street Improvement Plan.
