The Town of Conception Bay South has begun its annual water flushing program, which will continue throughout the summer. During this time, you may notice minor water discoloration and changes in water pressure. After flushing is complete, run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. 

Important Flushing Reminder

Additionally, we are experiencing an increase in garbage and debris in our sewer system. Please be mindful of what you flush. Items like wipes, cloths, diapers, and other hygiene products should not be flushed down toilets, as they do not dissolve easily and can clog pipes. Only toilet paper dissolves quickly and is safe to flush.  Disinfectant wipes and similar products may seem safe to flush but can lead to significant sewer issues and costly repairs. Please dispose of these items in the trash rather than flushing them. Remember, wipes clog pipes!
