Shelter Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m – 4:30 p.m.

 

We are located at:

106 Conception Bay Highway

Directly behind the Town Hall and Library

 

We are responsible for:

  • operating a shelter for stray animals, injured, lost or abandoned (Prior arrangement
  • Adoption
  • Rescue injured animals that have been struck by automobiles or suffered some other form of injury
  • Provides residents a veterinarian service for euthanizing animals at owner’s request
  • Issues FREE pet licenses
  • Responds to and investigates complaints of animal abuse, roaming and other related animal activities
  • Operates and AFTER HOUR EMERGENCY service for injured animals or situations involving aggressive and neglected¬†animals.

 

Please call for an appointment before stopping by to ensure someone is in the shelter.

Prior arrangements must be made if you set your own cat cage to safely trap stray/feral cats on your property.  We need to ensure there is adequate space.
