WELCOME TO THE TOWN’S HUMANE SERVICES
The Town of Conception Bay South Humane Service Shelter is located behind the Town Hall 106 Conception Bay Highway, Manuels.The Humane Service Department offers:
- a shelter for animals that are roaming the streets, injured, lost or abandoned.
- rescues injured animals that have been struck by automobiles or suffered some other form of injury
- humanely euthanizes pets at the request of the owner
- issues pet licenses and keeps a computerized registration system
- responds to and investigates complaints of animal abuse, excessive barking, roaming and other related activities
- operates an after hour EMERGENCY service for injured animals or situations involving aggression of animals
