Welcome to the Town of Conception Bay South

The Town of Conception Bay South is a vibrant and growing community, currently classed as the largest town in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We enjoy a reputation of being a great place to live. This reputation is a result of our spectacular views, good weather and excellent recreational, educational and community facilities and services.

Our Town is a great place to live and our commercial residents offer a wide variety of services comparable to any part of the Province. We are just minutes away from the St. John’s International Airport and major shopping centers via our modern highway system.

During your visit to our Town, enjoy a walk along Manuels River, one of the oldest river systems in the world. Spend a day diving on historic World War II shipwrecks or visit scenic Topsail Beach, where on certain occasion you may encounter a pirate or two. We have plenty to offer – come see for yourself!
