Do you miss voting for a great cause?

Well here is another great opportunity to display our community spirit in Conception Bay South!

A local group of sports enthusiasts has formed a committee and has submitted a project for possible funding to Molson Coors Community Cheer Program. The project involves the construction of a clubhouse for the Richard Parsons Memorial Field in the West End of Town. The Molson Coors Community Cheer Program is committed to providing funding up to a total of $1millon for 20 different projects across the country.

The project was successfully reviewed and will be posted to the Molson Coors Community Cheer website (www.ourcommunitycheer.com) on January 12, 2012. The next requirement will be to get 225 people to Cheer it on! Only projects that receive at least 225 Cheers will be considered for funding. Cheering starts January 12th and ends February 10th, 2012.

If the project receives a minimum of 225 “Cheers” by February 10th, 2012, it will then be eligible for the final evaluation stage. Projects will be evaluated by the Molson Coors Community Cheer team on the following four key criteria:

• The amount of community cheer and support shown via www.OurCommunityCheer.com
• The ability to meet the application criteria
• The project’s alignment with Molson Coors values
• The positive social impact on the community and ability to demonstrate success

Projects selected for funding from Molson Coors Community Cheer will then be notified by email on March 1st, 2012.
